This is a list of the cereals which you can use to feed your rats.

It's divided into three groups -
Group 1 is cereals I'd be happy to use in my mix anytime (mainly <5% sugar).
Group 2 is cereals with higher sugar entirely from fruit, or odd fat or fibre levels from nuts, seeds etc (i.e. no added sugar muselis) - I use small amounts of several of these, but obviously you have to be sensible about mixing them, and take into account whether there is fruit in your base mix.
Group 3 is the cereals I would never give my rats due to high sugar levels - needless to say it's the longest list , and also contains some surprising things (most of the so-called 'healthy' cereals for a start).
